Pre-surgery immunotherapy. What's your experience?

NSCLC staging is 2B. Local cancer center refused to do any pre-surgery treatment that did not involve chemo. I refused chemo. Found another center 4 hrs away that is willing to treat with a month of immunotherapy to shrink mass pre-surgery with the hope that I can have lobe removal with out having to have open surgery. Wondering what everyone's experience has been with immunotherapy and if it worked to shrink the cancer?
