Not at this time.
After spending 16 days at the hospital for a broken Femur, catching their C-DIFF STAPH and 54 days under Quarantine in an overflow floor of rehab center of terrible care, not the fault of the hard-working staff.

So I have have had my fill of the medical system in Florida. I have Arthritis (I have learned how to live with it), am Anemic and 87, with a now compromised immunity, The arthritis in my bones is not going away, but why did the NEUROPATHY show up approximately 3 weeks after my Moderma 1st Booster and regular flu shot. I believe in Vaccines having had many in my 87 years. But someone must find out and correct it. I'm sure it saved many lives, but why suddenly is it a major priority. Covid will not be the last Pandemic. I was given the Polio vaccine, Smallpox, etc. etc.

I also had Cataracts removed all through November 2022 and Hurricane IAN .
I know what I have. Trying to find something for it. I also still use a wheelchair plus walker and prepare my own food in order to try and lose this awful Neuropathy thru proper diet with supplements. So far, I have no pain but believe the caused my slip and fall on my dry wood floor. I currently have no prescriptions whatsoever. I now can use my home facilities with medical aides, railings, etc that I had to purchase.
Sorry to unload on you nice caring people. You and God giving me mental faculties, and my best Canine Furry friend are my lifeline. Along with grandchildren. God Bless

I have been diagnosed with idiopathic peripheral nephropathy with pain in my feet only at night, and sometimes up my legs as well. I have tried Gralise, which worked but my insurance company would no longer pay for this medication. I've tried Metanx as well and that also worked and my symptoms went away. Now my symptoms are back and I'm using CBD oil on my feet at night. This helped for a while, but now I am experiencing pain in my feet during the day as well. I'm at a loss at to what to try next because I have also tried Gabapentin 100 mg, and I am loathe to try a bigger dose because of serious side effects. Also, I read that the Covid 19 vaccine can exacerbate PN, and I'm wondering if that is the cause of renewed PN. Whatever the cause of the renewed pain, I'd like to find some treatment that will reduce or eliminate the pain so that I can sleep at night.

I sound like a broken record, but ask your doctor if you can try a different class of seizure medicine. Tegretol is working much better for me than Gabapentin, etc did.

Thank You. I will ask, but doubt my "Rsferral" Doctor says he will not prescribe pain medicine
I'm looking for a doctor closer to my home. There is one that prescribes Medical Marijuana but not sure I want to go there.

As I said. I only have Arthritic pain which I learned to live with for over 10 years with Advil and rub on creams such as Biofreeze.

This is a seizure medicine, not for pain, but can be helpful with neuropathy pain. It’s just not as commonly used as the others.

Is it only by Prescription? That's my problem with this Doctor. I live on Southwest Florida on an off shore island and transportation is a problem. I will try to talk to the one doctor here that prescribes Medical M.
