No Metastasis anywhere near the Prostate/ bladder etc. No Metastasis in the Lymph nodes no cribriform etc. They downgraded my Gleason score and typing. Previously I was a Gleason 8 (4 +4) and type 4, the final Gleason was 7 (4+3) and type 2. It went from "High risk" to "Intermediate Risk"

That’s great, The results mean, you won’t have to be on ADT for long, Six months with the Gleason seven versus 18 months with the Gleason eight.

That gives you a lot better chance of not coming back.

Those are wonderful news : ))) ! It is so rare to have results downgraded and it must be doubly great feeling - not only there are no mets but cancer was less aggressive to begin with . All in all, you might probably expect complete eradication of the cancer - yeayyyyy !!! I am both happy for you and for you Mom since she will not ever have to hear those dreadful and scary words about you having PC. May you stay cancer free forever : ))) !

Jay, I'm so happy to hear that you were downgraded! I think you did the right thing with your treatment option and I'm sure that you could only be happier if none if it happened at all. Now that you are on the other side it's funny how much worry we did over the entire procedure only to come out the other end thinking "well that could have been much worse".
