Does anyone have problems with pancaking and the bag pulling away without any poop going into bag and is there a solution

Yep. Depends on the consistency of the feces.

The lubricant and deodorant from Coloplast helps me with that,

Hi @pez01,
As you know, pancaking happens when there is a vacuum in the stoma bag and the bag sticks together. This stops the stool from dropping to the bottom of the bag and can block the filter. And as you are experiencing this can cause the pouch to be pushed off the abdomen.

To help prevent pancaking, you can try blowing air into the pouch before putting it on will help stop a vacuum from occurring. Like @thehoustonhouse mentioned, a drop of oil or lubricant in the pouch will help the output to get to the bottom of the bag.

Like, @kenc mentioned, it may also be an issue of consistency. Have you tried drinking more fluids or making diet changes to soften the stool and make it less "sticky"?
