Pain. When weather shifts

Posted by sue417 @sue417, Apr 18 6:36pm

Hi
Just wondering if others with fibromyalgia suffer severe muscle pain when storms roll in. I have never had this much pain in my back before and we've had storms all day.

Hi
what symptoms do you get. May I ask what you take when it happens

Yes. I can tell when a front is coming in. I feel it all over. After the storm calms down, my pain gets better.

We would make good weathermen! LOL.

Blessings & Prayers....

My back, arms and hands were aching horribly yesterday, overnight a front cam through & it rained this morning. Even before anyone heard of fibromyalgia, all the Grannies at my church swore they knew when weather was coming - and they were usually correct. I believe arthritic joints are sometimes predictors too.

Hi
Yes, but with the storms then I had to sit 2 hrs at my car dealer and that has contributed very much to my pain
I just need my chiro. Tomorrow can't come soon enough

I'm in Indiana and the high temps with high humidity has my fibro pain at its worst. I use cold packs for my shoulder and neck pain and anywhere else it's worse. I've had both rotator cuffs operated on and a hip replacement and most recently tarsal tunnel release surgery that didn't work. I'm in more pain in that foot than I had before the surgery. Some days I can't deal with it but got to keep trying to move a little bit.

Thank you for your comment. I should have also said that by God's grace I get through the days. My grandkids are my joy and distraction as well. I just wish I could do more with them but they love me anyway! 😜
