Undiagnosed pain, bowel obstruction, IBS-C, heartburn, upset stomach
I'm waiting for an appointment with Mayo (by the way, how long did it take you to get an appointment offer?) and these are my symptoms:
Bowel Obstruction when I was 4 years old
IBS-C (I take Linzess for this, max dose, and Miralax)
Heartburn, constantly, no matter if I eat or if I don't, no matter what I eat.. doesn't matter, everything gives me heartburn that radiates to my back. (I'm on a PPI for this supplemented with Pepcid/Prilosec)
Upset stomach - cramping, bloating
Has anyone had the same and gotten a diagnosis? I was checked for ulcers and gallbladder, both negative. I have gastritis.

Have you been checked for H-pylori or C-Diff? Has your doctor considered an antibiotic trial to see if it has any effect? Here is an article from Mayo that may help you get man answer.

I have been checked for both - both negative.
Tagging a few members who may have some thoughts for you as you try to deal with heartburn, upset stomach with cramping and bloating, IBS-C, with a past history of bowel obstruction @maggiew3 @llcc8800 @riflemanz64 @brigettehatescdiff @mmenor1 @lori57216.
How have you been doing this week, elfergin?
I take gravol for upset stomach. I have a cronic pseudo small bowel obstruction.
Ugh! I am sorry to hear, heartburn is so painful. Have you been checked for SIBO? Have you had an endoscopy for polyps? Does the prilosec/prevacid help at all? When you say everything gives you heartburn - do you still have heartburn when you are fasting? Hope you get to Mayo soon!!
Also - here is some info on TIF - Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) for endoscopy work ups.
