Pain Pump with Colostomy

I have Chronic Radiation Enteritis (I am currently 64; have had it since I was 37) for which I’ve been receiving chronic pain management treatment. I also have both a permanent colostomy and a portacatheter. After being on both pills and patches for years to combat the radiation-related GI pain, my doctor has offered to try the pain pump implant. I’m not too worried about having a permanent port alongside the pump, but I am concerned about having the colostomy, too. Does anyone else have experience with having a colostomy and a pain pump implant both?
