Pain during blood pressure

I’ve had PMR for two years, two major flares, on 10 mg prednisone going to five soon. I don’t have noticeable pain except when my blood pressure is taken. Yesterday at a long covid clinic the nurse put the smaller size cuff on my forearm and it worked great. Just a tip for the future if BP cuffs hurt you.

I have had that same problem with taking my blood pressure. I have high blood pressure so the blood pressure cuff pumps up real tight on me. Then of course I tense up and my pressure goes up higher, lol. I usually try to relax and have them retake with me standing up.
But your suggestion sounds like a winner— I think I will suggest it next time!
