Have you consulted the orthopedic surgeon who did the surgery yet?
Hip replacement patients have problems with the piriformis muscle the sciatic nerve goes through that muscle. I get Botox. The muscle attaches from your lower back to your hip. When it spasms it hurts really bad feels like your sitting on a hard ball. It pulls on your sciatic nerve causing pain down your leg.

4 ReactionsDid you get an MRI of your lumbar spine? It’s usually the cause of sciatic pain.
