Osteoporosis with 8 compression fractures. 1 kyphoplasty and 4 vertbro

I've spontaneously fractured 4 vertebrae in lower back. Osteoporosis. Subsequently had 4 vertbroplasty 6wks ago. I've been on lyrica 75mg twice daily, since fracturing in late June. Im wanting off the lyrica but am afraid of the withdrawals. My Dr wants me to continue it but im done with pain meds. Any advice on weeding off would be greatly appreciated
