Orgovyx and non-sexual relationships

I started on Orgovyx this week (5 days now), and already have begun to feel some of the expected side effects related to erections and orgasms. Much has been written about those, with everyone's experience being different. From my experience already (and my "baseline" status) I think I can expect a profound, perhaps complete, reduction in libido. To make the best of it, I am trying to explore in a positive way what castration will mean to my identity and my social (and formerly sexual) relationships - specifically, whether there is an advantage due to "eunuch calm" in relationships, especially with women, but also in traditional male-to-male social relations. I am trying to set myself up for happiness over the next two years or so of my journey. Much appreciation in advance for the benefit of your experience.

Definitely an attention-grabbing title! But at this point, I would be more likely an avid reader than an author, being new to this process (the 2-year length of it, anyway). That lunch with an old friend sounds great, both for you and them. I find myself thinking often now about an old friend who passed almost 50 years ago from lymphatic cancer. (My recurrence is in two lymph nodes in the pelvic area.) If she could be here now, what would be her treatment plan, and what would we talk about over those lunches? It's an opportunity not to be missed for both of you, glad you're doing it.
As for that book: I've seen good things regarding Dr. Richard Wassersug's Androgen Deprivation Therapy: An essential guide for men with prostate cancer and their loved ones. I plan to read it.

What I've read says the ADT drugs drop the testosterone and libido. However the ability to have an erection and orgasm is not affected. Of course this is in the context of other interventions too.

@thmssllvn Erection and orgasm can be anywhere from "not affected" to "gone". In my case, now after 9 days on Orgovyx, the word is "gone". My last orgasm was yesterday morning, and it was "awwww, sweet - that's so cute!" from a very gently engorged penis. The regression has been pretty steady since Day 1. It's like Orgovyx was formulated with me in mind. It's good to see that some folks' experience is quite different.
