Once Again - Stage 4 EC Alert!
On June 7th, our Sunday Esophageal Cancer Zoom call hosted a stage 4 EC patient (Warren Tierney of Ireland) who is currently undergoing individualized treatments in Gurugram India, under the care of the Art of Cancer Healing organization (AoCH). His current results are impressive, to say the least.
Most of you know me, that I am loathe to promote alternative treatments for my fellow EC patients. But this does not fall into that classification. And Warren's visit to our Zoom call was eye-opening... as 66 attendees saw first-hand on that call. Warren is highly educated and is quite careful in promoting anything as the Be All End All for stage 4 Cancer of any kind. But his journey to India (after seeking care in Germany) caught my attention... and as you all know, I seek only to help my fellow EC patients... many come from these top notch Mayo sites across America, as well as MSK, MDA, etc. We simply help each other.
So you are invited this coming Sunday, July 5th, 9 am Eastern, 2 pm in the UK, 6:30 pm in India... to join a founding member of AoCH, Arpan Talwar, as he discusses their integrative approach to cancer, combining modern oncology treatments with metabolic therapy, nutrition, and precision medicine. Come listen and ask all the questions you'd like. Warren will also be on this call since he can tell you costs and care in India since he and his wife and young children are there with him. What's even better is that Mayo permits me to post this inside their site. They know the respect I have for all the Mayo locations... and I've certainly sent many to Mayo sites who were seeking better care, second opinions, clinical trials, etc. They all know how we patients and caregivers are just trying to help each other.
