OB issue - HELP

Posted by dmfaust @dmfaust, Aug 13, 2023

I went to my Ob with issue of weight gain , bloating , horrible heavy periods and spotting in between all my periods, pelvic pain and perfuse sweating always ! I went to the OB/GYN and i had an ultrasound and this is what it said :Diffusely heterogeneous uterus. This somewhat obscures visualization of the endometrial complex.
My pap result was this ; Endometrial cells present in a woman age 45 or above.
No call back from the dr and i feel like crap almost everyday-anyone have any clue

Hi @dmfaust. Our female plumbing is so complicated, isn’t it? I’m sorry you’re feeling so awful lately. I’ve found some information for you that may help explain the comments with the ultrasound findings. Tissue can build up in the uterus making it difficult to get a ‘good picture’ of the surrounding area.

It’s incredibly frustrating when we have tests done and don’t receive a timely response! The best way to handle this is take control and call the doctor’s office. You’d like to know what the test results reveal, if there’s a diagnosis and what treatment options do you have so that you can start feeling human again. It’s ok to be the squeaky wheel…with diplomacy. 😉

How long ago did you have the ultrasound?
