Newly diagnosed Stage 3B triple negative breast cancer in 70 year old
Hi,
My mother is 70 years old and have been diagnosed with triple negative stage 3B breast cancer last week and we are all very tensed on next steps.
The tumour size is 4cm with couple of node involvement, skin tissue involvement.
She is otherwise healthy Indian female , only taking medicines for thyroid and cholesterol.
Please advise.

@myoga - lynparza was prescribed because brca2+ - its supposed to help repair damaged DNA cells. I took the med for 18 mo at a lower dosage, the full dosage gave me sudden explosive diarrhea, so I took a lower dosage for a longer period of time. I believe it had just be approved for BC with BRCA mutation when I took it.

They didn't put a topical on so it stung but it's not terrible and the sting doesnt last long and it's a quick procedure.
I had to go thru this twice because 2 emergencies cancelled my surgery. We have 6 surgical bays but they can only staff two.
I thought putting in the Pic line and biopsy were worse and harder.
Before you know it this will be in the past and you can be on the road to recovery.

I posted in the

It doesnt take long but it did sting. I had to go thru it twice because my surgery got cancelled because of emergencies. We have 6 surgical bays but they can only staff 2.
I thought the biopsy and putting in my Pic line was worse.
