New treatment Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) for dry macular degeneration

I have just been advised by my retinologist that the drug SYFORE has been approved by the FDA as a treatment (but not a cure) for dry Mac Deg.
It is administered as an eye injection. This is the first and only medication of its kind. My doctor has it on order and expects to have it available in several weeks.
As I have had wet Mac deg. In the eye in consideration for this treatment I feel I need more information on this new drug. My instances of wet in that eye have ceased for over a year after Eyelea injections for about two years. Is there anyone else who is considering taking SYFOVRE?

I have dry in both and wet in one. I have geographic Atrophy with most of central vision gone in one and starting in the other. Since I want to retain as much vision as I can, I’m going ahead with injections in both as soon as it becomes available

I have dry in both and wet in one which also has geographic atrophy. It sounds like it will need to be a separate injection but I do want to keep as much of my vision as I can. So I will be asking my retina doc about this. I heard somewhere that efforts are being made to develop a combination injection. I hope that is on the horizon.
