New to using hearing aids.

Each time I take out my aids and each morning when I awake my hearing of my own voice is muffled. Is this normal I have only had the aids for three days.

Is your own voice muffled all day long with the HAs or only for a short while when you put them on in the morning? Try raising the volume if you haven’t already done that. Or wait and see and go back to your audiologist if you’re uncomfortable. I’ve been wearing them for years and find they have their own idiosyncrasies- unlike my glasses!

Yes my voice is muffled with them off mostly due to weather. No ent knows the cause accept they say hearing loss. Mine is mild to moderate. But yesterday the weather was better and so was my time with the aids. I’m trying to get thru this. Will be back in a week for an audio appt. 🤞
