New Study with Stevia leaf
This article holds promise for destroying panceretic cancer cells. It's still in research (article is Great Britian) but still gives hope that positive things are happening.
The first link is sumary (GB news) second one is university study link:

I think the challenge for us as caregivers and patients would be to know how to ferment the stevia extract? Not sure if giving natural stevia powder or extract would kill the pancreatic cells or not!
I agree. It's hard to know what's best or what's not! I've encouraged my hubby to go with Stevia sweetners, vs real sugar (the artifical ones are, of course, horrid).. I did find this on chatGpt : Brands that use fermented stevia often market it clearly because it tastes less bitter and is more sugar-like. Examples: Cargill’s EverSweet™
SweeGen Bestevia® Some products by Truvia, Purecane, or Icon Foods may use fermented stevia. ferment the stevia extract.
It's encourging for me that something may be out there that will work for my husband. He's stage 2a and has had 8 chemo, about to do # 9 out of 12.. but he's had so much difficulity this past week I'm not sure he will continue. It's his call..but once the chemo is over, I'll aggressively pursue whatever I can to extend his life. The information out there is mindbloggling !
@vikrampg, you're quite right. The research @lvb shared is still in very early lab studies in petri dishes (in vitro). So often, news outlets and social media will broadcast early promising research that have yet to be tested in human trials. Many in vitro and in vivo (mice) studies fail before they get to human trials unfortunately.
This is definitely one of those situations where the advice would be "Don't try this at home, kids." It would be impossible to replicate the findings with over the counter products.
@lvb, it's true that there is so much information out there. Some of it helpful and hopeful, and some of it incorrect.
