I had a TKR on my right knee three years ago. Except or a slight numbness on the lower outside of my knee I was extremely satisfied with the results. A few months ago I was side lined with a hip replacement followed by another TKR in my left knee. Since then my right knee continues to get stiffer and the area of stiffness is increasing. Although I don't have pain and my flexion is still over 130, it is stiff almost all the time. When I mention it to my doctor(s) they manipilate my knee, or give me an X-ray and tell me everything looks great. That's fine, but I' cant seem to be taken seriously get any answers as to what is going on? Is it scar tissue? Something else? Thoughts?

I wonder if the knee is getting enough exercise due to your recent hip and knee replacement?

@franpechtol Wow, knee and hip in a few months - that's a lot for you and your body to handle. I'm not surprised that the other knee is rebelling.
When I had a series of hip revisions on both sides in a very short time, I was referred by my surgeon to a Rehabilitation Clinic - not your typical post-surgery PT shop "do these exercises this often" - because I was getting back and knee pain, even though things "looked OK."

They did a comprehensive assessment of my posture, gait, foot position and lower body fitness and designed a program of PT just for me that was meant to get me walking straight and tall after many years of limping and leaning.

Perhaps you can ask for such a referral? Large PT practices usually have such specialists, as do trauma and orthopedic hospitals that treat complex cases.
