@gilkesl May I make a suggestion? Another approach is to look up the manufactures of the artificial discs. I have seen manufacturer websites that have a listing of surgeons who use their implants. That may give you some more information.

@gilkesl You may want to call Mayo in Jacksonville and ask for the Neurosurgery Department. They can probably tell you which of the surgeons do procedures with artificial discs, Here is the general phone number for Mayo Jacksonville. 904-953-2000

I looked at the Neurosurgery page on the Mayo website, and then went to surgeons in Jacksonville. I found 2 surgeons who's area of interest lists artificial disc replacement. Here are their profiles. There may be other surgeons there who just haven't listed it in their profiles.
