How to alleviate neuropathic pain, foot paralysis caused by infection?
What can be done to alleviate neuropathic pain in foot paralysis caused by neuroborreliosis or co-infections? Especially in the thighs, knees, and calves? The soles of the feet as well. Neurological numbness is significant. According to the state of this numbness, it should theoretically be without sensation, but the opposite is true. The pain is often unbearable. The feeling cannot be explained, even to doctors or physical therapists who try exercises or medications. Nothing helps. Does anyone have experience with any procedures? Exercises, massages of certain points, or natural supplements?
Thank you for sharing and for any advice.

What specialist have you seen and are working with today? What medications have you tried and are currently on? How is your infection being treated?
Do you think the infection and/or medication has caused any permanent nerve damage? Have you had EMG/nerve conduction studies done of your limbs and small fiber neuropathy skin punch biopsy? Do you have diabetes or blood circulation issues? Have you seen a vascular/vein specialist for ultrasound/MRI imaging and ankle brachial testing of legs/knees/calves/ankles?
Are you taking any neuropathy supplements or using any pain creams/patches/roll-ons? Have you had testing of your blood for inflammation markers and infection status recently? Do you think any of your medications are causing neuropathy side effects?
To be honest, I haven't been contacting specialists, of whom there were many and at various levels of expertise, for some time now. They all have their EMRs, CTs, ultrasounds, and other things without which they can't move forward and without which they don't even have an opinion or normal human advice. Mostly, they just make statements and observe. It's also about the psyche, which is important to me. Your questions are clear, but the answers are less so.
The current treatment included antibiotics for inflammation caused by Borrelia and Bartonella, which hide in biofilms and cause damage behind the back of the immune system. They are experts fir nervous a cellular issues. The EMG was always normal, and a reduction in numbness was noted without significant progression of degradation. Fortunately, diabetes is not on the agenda, as it was not diagnosed from blood and other tests. The vascular specialist also found no abnormalities in the vascular system. Although I asked about frequent feelings of cold ankles and knees, which disappear with exercise and massage. Overall, I feel a strong detoxification because I am trying natural remedies, ayurvedic medicines, and also DMSO, if you know it.
My overall condition is definitely related to the neuropathy, and the central problem is chronic inflammation—the aforementioned pathogens—and stress on the liver and lymphatic system. Mitral valve regurgitation does not help matters too. It is a whole complex that I am dealing with more or less on my own. And sometimes with my general practitioner. Thanks for your response and questions.
