Neuropathy feel like I'm sitting on something?

Recently I've Had The Sensation that I'm sitting on something in the car seat. I thought I was sitting on my wallet, other times sitting on the couch it feels like there's something underneath of me and the saddle area of my bottom and I was told by a doctor at Loma Linda neuropathy Clinic to watch for that sensation. A few weeks later I actually started having it. I don't think it's in my mind I can actually feel something, there , she had told me from my explaining my back problems to her and degenerative disc and sciatica along with leg nerve pain and neuropathy she said to watch for that and let my doctor know.

Does it cause you're tremendous pain? I'm going to the same thing as I am in a lot of pain all the time.

I also have a very strange sensation when seated _ it is almost as if the bones of my bottom are sitting on the flesh of my bottom and when I think I am deliberately moving slightly forward and backward on my bottom, I am not actually moving my bottom relative to the seat! It's a little like the feeling of having socks on my feet, when they are totally bare! I call it "saddle seat"!
