Needle biopsy

I am scheduled for a needle biopsy on my thyroid soon and am concerned about coughing during the procedure!

@britchic How frequent is your cough?
Perhaps you can take a cough suppressant before the procedure? I have had several thyroid needle biopsies and they don't take very long. Also, if you cough more when you lie flat, you could ask if they can do it while you are more upright.

Hi all,
I did not tolerate the MAC tx so relying on all airway clearance.
I find I have more mucous in the morning so my husband does chest PT and has made a difference. Then I do nebulizer and aerobika around 10am. At around 7pm I do 20 minutes on rhe vest, neb and aerobika.
We try to get out every day and walk as much as possible. We bought a treadmill for those days we do not venture out.
