NO. Take 2 Ibprophren and 1 tylinol. My Dr told me this. It works.stay in top of it.

I think you need to go to the emergency room, since you've asked and are concerned enough to post your question here. Having neck pain for 2 months is a long time with no relief. It could be caused by a medication, cervical vertebrae problem, or other reason. I have a compression fracture of my C7, which happened probably 6 years before it was diagnosed through an MRI for a different problem. I also recommend that you get established with a physician so that when you have a problem you can call them rather than wait until you are ready to go to the ER.

Please let us know the results of your ER visit and if you find relief for your neck pain.

Have you gone to chiropractor ?That might help if not see a Dr.or Urgent care center

I have neck pain and it starts with a muscle on my left side and runs around the base of my neck. When I tilt my head to the right, it really hurts and going up my driveway since it's gravel the movement really makes it hurts. I take dual action Advil, but try to stay away from it due to the Ibprophren makes my liver elevated. My family doctor thought it was the way I was sleeping, I can hear my neck crack a lot. I do have an appointment with a neurologist to see what's going on. Did not want to see a pain management doctor as all they do is prescribe pills, don't need that.
