When do fatgue & anxiety after surgery to pituitary gland improve?

I had this surgery. That dropping of 10 mg testing or not seems extreme and dangerous. I came home from my surgery on 20 mg and over many months decreased to 15. I was very weak in the mornings and now take 17.5mg. Yes 2.5 mg made a wonderful difference in me. How long must she wait? And did they take the whole gland out along with the tumor? If she has some gland she may do better. But check in with the doc and watch her. She could go into crisis (plummeting blood pressure). Good luck!!

@caredy77 Thank You, she has the gland, and is waiting for the hormone test. Her fatigue is worsening, and some nights she shivers uncontrollably. I am hoping that the Docs figure this out soon.

@edkis1955 This will get better as her hormones stabilize. I know it’s very frustrating for you to see this, but they are working on it. Hang in there!

@edkis1955 I unfortunately know the fatigue and the cold sweats and shivers at night well from my stage 4 Pnet and chemo. They are very unpleasant. Hopefully, the hormone test provides some answers. Please let us know how the test results go.

She is still struggling with fatigue, and anxiety which is new for her. She is scheduled for the hormone test next week. We are hoping that this will shed some light on her symptoms, and that they will be able to be treated successfully. I am doing okay, trying to get her to take it easy and rest, which is something she is not used to doing. Thank You for the message.
