My UA test indicated very high Hyaline Casts

Hello all
My last several UA are normal except for months I have had trace leukocytes and Hyaline Cast has steadily increased from 4 to 19(H). I have also had several UTI this year. All other labs are stable. My urine Creatinine 181.80 total protein 11mg/dL and Prot/Creat is 0.06 I am currently taking Tacrolimus 3mg 2X daily. Should I be overly concerned about Hyaline Cast being very high? All comments welcome.

@codered032 in the summer (June?) I ended up in ER where I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. At that time my labs showed high hyaline casts. The Drs weren’t concerned about it at all. After questioning it and searching things like google and web MD it seems that these numbers can happen if you are sick with something else (maybe the UTIs ?). If it continues ask your providers for an explanation.

Cehunt57 thank you for sharing. I was told by my nephrologist that hyaline cast was probably related to my urine being very concentrated. I have increased my fluids and ask for repeat U/A next month.
