Multi with spironolactone cause low bp?

Does taking a multivitamin with spironolactone cause low blood pressure? I recently started taking centrum silver for women over 50 but the Health app on my iPhone says that it will cause low blood pressure. Thank you

Hi, @netti. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I actually take spironolactone, and I've not seen any side effects in many years taking it, for hair loss.

I tried to determine if the particular multivitamin you're talking about (Centrum Silver) contains spirinolactone, but I had trouble finding a complete ingredient list. Does this multivitamin contain spironolactone, or are you talking about taking both (separately) at the same time? Have you gotten to take your blood pressure at home? Or perhaps ask your doctor to weigh in?
