MRI With Contrast

Posted by cmartin65 @cmartin65, Jun 20, 2020

Has anyone had a prostate 3T MRI without contrast? I'm scheduled for my first and I'm very concerned about the possible side effects of gadolinium that is used for contrast. Can a MRI without contrast show adequate detailed imagery for diagnostic purposes? Thanks in advance!

Colleen,
Could you explain the process of using the secure message function and how to do it. I did have one user asked about talking to me directly but did not know to recommend using the secure message function.

You know if I would just look around more I would have seen this. After searching around myself about a week ago I did catch the send private message in the message ICON at top right. Thanks for feedback though.

I was sending a lot of information to one individual and was focused on one facility so thought it best to do it via private message.
