Update #1
I returned to the surgeon. I definitely need surgery (ACDF on c5-c7). They also decided that I needed a mri of the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine. Unfortunately I have multiple areas along my spine that are also showing degenerative disc disease as well as radiculopathy. After healing from this I will need additional surgery (a TLIF on l4-s1). And sometime in the future I will most likely need surgery on the mid spine as well as it continues to degenerate.
I am now scheduled for the ACDF surgery on 4 December and will provide an update when able on how I am doing.
Thank you all for your support !
