Molecular profiling in Canada

Molecular profiling is not done in Canada unless you are in a clinical study. So for my husband we chose to have it done which has been sent to the USA and we await results. Can someone explain when we get results what we can typically expect ??

He had 1st treatment of Folfirinox and he then had embolisms and that caused heart problems. Do they have stopped the treatment.
Depending on the results of molecular profiling do they typically change treatment or add something else to existing treatment ?
