Methotrexate Side Effects - Hair Loss

I currently take Plaquenil. My physician recommended switching to Methotrexate as my osteoporosis is progressing. I have researched various side effects.
My question - has anyone experienced hair loss? If yes, to what extent.

Have you checked your thyroid.
When my thyroid start to slow down I lot a lot of hair.
Good luck figuring things out.

up your cheese uptake, brie, cheddar & take collagen to increase your calcium level.

In my situation Methotrexate did not cause extra hair loss. Stopped RX due to low WBC.

If you currently experience hair loss it may be caused by an autoimmune disease. I lose more hair when I have a Raynaud's flare.
