I have raised meth-heamoglobin levels(28). My normal HB count is 18. What to do now?
Thanks

Hi @automotionsensor, as you likely know, methemoglobin is a form of hemoglobin found in the blood in small amounts. Unlike normal hemoglobin, methemoglobin cannot carry oxygen. Injury or certain drugs, chemicals, or foods may cause a higher-than-normal amount of methemoglobin to be made.

Why was this blood test ordered for you? Is you doctor investigating methemoglobinemia?
