Met exon 14 skipping gene

Posted by popsue @popsue, 1 day ago

My cancer is being driven by this gene, met exon 14 skipping gene. It started in my lungs and after chemo, radiation and immunotherapy it has metastasized to my spine. My doctor said it is a very difficult disease. I will be starting tepotinib, but it will only be slowing down the progression. Does anyone else have this type of cancer?

I posted today and yes I am dealing with same mutation.

Read my post for current update.

I too had to stop Tepmetko due to massive edema and heart failure due to cardiomyopathy from fluid overload. Hospitalized/-diuresed and stopped Tepmetko late 2024. The rest of story I have posted.
A most difficult medication😞
