Mesentery Issues

Posted by shimjim24 @shimjim24, Jul 29 8:13am

My PCP suggested I had mesentery inflammation. To note the mesentery is that folded membrane holding supporting intestines and nourishing them. This was based on results from abdominal CT scan. Of course I had multiple abnormal blood markers indicating massive inflammation, like elevated D-dimer, WBC and C-reactive protein among others. I have researched extensively and learned that there are many different degrees and types of mesentery issues. Has anyone been diagnosed with this?. Can this cause a major malaise in the whole abdominal area, a sort of soreness
around the periphery of many abdominal organs. I am also having significant gastro issues including stomach bloating causing me to burp air often. Does anyone else have any information about this, how is it fully and conclusively diagnosed, treated, etc.

That’s very interesting. I’ve never heard of this before.
