Mesenchymal Tumor
I had an ultrasound on a lump on my right bicep. They came back and said it was a suspected Mesenchymal Tumor and the bone was not involved. The lump is the size of a grape. Now they want to do a MRI on it. I am so worried about this. When I google this type of Tumor I keep seeing various Sarcomas it could be. I've been going crazy ever since I heard the news on Friday. Anyone have any lumps that started on their arms? Hoping for the best outcome here and for everyone on here.

@rkhss, mesenchymal tissue tumors are soft tissue tumors, also known as connective tissue tumors. Have you had further testing and the MRI? Do you know more about what you're dealing with?
Unfortunately not. I had an MRI but it was inconclusive. I am getting a biospy next week I am praying for the best.
@rkhss, any update from the biopsy?
I am working directly with Mayo on this. Unfortunately the biopsy they took shows Myxofibrosarcoma low grade sample. I have to get a CT scan of my chest to see if it has spread and set up radiation treatments. I am terrified.
@rkhss, I’m relieved to hear you’re working with Mayo Clinic. I know you’re terrified, but you are in good hands. I invite you to join others like you in this discussion:
