Treatment for MMyeloma- anyone being treated for MM and colors their hair? Has medication or chemo changed anything with your hair/or getting it processed?

@treehouse5437 I have never colored or done any chemical treatments to my hair. It is naturally curly/wavy, and just never had the interest to spend time on it.
You pose a good question, and I hope others will respond. Some medications may cause your hair to thin, or possible hair loss. Some experience a different type of hair when it recovers. If it is a major concern for you, reach out to your team and get their input on what you might expect.

I had chemo and they gave me some pills. Also to take my numbers dropped one time they went down to 3.3 they think it was too strong.
I take hydroxyurea for chronic myelomonocytic leukemia and Langerhans cell histiocytosis. I have taken it for over 5 years and it has caused my hair to become very wavy. After having very straight hair for all of my 75 years, it has been an adjustment, but I feel that it beats my hair thinning, as has been the experience of others!
I color my hair. I asked my Dr if there would be any problem. I also asked about Botox and fillers and he said no problem!
