@hopeful heart you are not on Medicare yet. I am surprised at the coverage issue with Tymlos. Do they require you to first try Prolia or a bisphosphonate and "fail'? Or do they require a fracture?

I got my Tymlos for free. You can contact Radius. Check the thread on this topic. I believe for those too young for Medicare there are coupons and discounts available. Tymlos has nurses now on their site; the used to have reps who helped with finances. That other thread might provide guidance and I would suggest calling Radius.

thanks. That is so interesting. I wonder if they anticipate that patients might be taking the drug for more than two years.

Tymlos is 2 years

hopeful heart, the two year limit was applied because of the (disproven) bone cancer risk. With Tymlos and Forteo we can now take either drug after sequencing with bisphosphonates.

I understand what you mean about "having to scour through other places in hopes to find some relevant information." It is indeed a huge dilemma.
As someone who is under 65 without access to Medicare, I'm having that very problem finding financial tips relevant to my situation spread throughout these threads as so much of it is written by and for Medicare recipients. I started the linked thread to separate out programs that are available to those of us who are under 65.
You are right that those tips should also be included in your thread which applies to all assistance for all situations. I'll add a comment there with a link for those specifically looking for assistance available even if you don't have Medicare. Thank you for your efforts in making it easier for all of us to find this useful information.

For people who are low income, there are programs to assist financially. Your doc should be able to help.
