Medicare Advantage/ Medicare cover Prolia or reclast
I am new today to the group. I’ve been told I will need to go on one of these medications. Does Medicare advantage pay for either or are there NGOs that will help pay for these expensive drugs?

stoltzks1956, both Proia and Reclast are covered under Medicare Part B because the are administered in the doctor's office or a clinic. You Advantage Plan is required to cover whatever original Medicare covers, but be sure and check because the copays might be different. You might check the formulary for your plan by calling the plans agent, because you can switch to original Medicare until December 7.

3 ReactionsI have Medicare A & B and Prolia is covered. I am guessing Reclast would be covered as well as it’s an infusion.
