MCTD with overlap of sceladerma
Hi all I was diagnosed with MCTD and overlap systemic scelederma. Anyone else have it my Dr isn’t to informative about what to expect as disease proceeds? Would like to know if what I’m experiencing means it’s getting worse. My joints don’t hurt that bad but I can not stand for more than 5 minutes it just burns I can walk for about 30 minutes by the end I’m exhausted -Appreciate any feedback Thanks

I’ve been in my battle with what initiated as Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease & Hashimoto’s in 2021 and had a lot of other issues that were later diagnosed and have just added a perfect storm of misery for the past 4 yrs. My UCTD was officially diagnosed as MCTD about a year ago (although my symptoms all remained the same so I’m not sure what the hold up on my rheum’s end was, actually?) and in Dec 2024, a whole bunch of new symptoms started and was tested and then my ANA pattern has changed as well as titer increased so along with my new lovely symptoms was given another “child” x 2 of Dermatomyositis with Scleroderma overlap - so I’m a little new to the Scleroderma diagnosis as well.
