Marijuana for Chronic Pain Experiences
Hello Everyone - I have severe osteoarthritis in my lumbar spine ( along with a bunch of other things - stenosis, etc). My Pain Mgmt doc just signed me up for Medical Marijuana. I have no problem with marijuana, and like many of you, probably enjoyed it in our youth during the 70's. But fast forward to a 74 y.o. woman trying to figure out how best to use it for chronic pain. Florida has Medical MJ laws, which I'm trying to figure out. But in addition, the dispensing of it is not something with which I am familiar! So many different dosages and forms. I would very much appreciate hearing about your exploration and experimentation with MJ for pain mgmt. What have you tried? what has worked? what dosage? problems? suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help. I hope you are having a good day! Sue

I realize your post is dated, but can u tell me how your trail went?
@jsyjackmayo I ended up now using only gummies and tincture. Vaping caused me to have nasopharyngeal issues from the hot smoke and I will not vape flower any more. So I use tincture of CBD from MedTerra and THC from a dispensary usually the highest strength I can find. I take 25mg of each or 1/4 ml of CBD and 1/2 ml THC three times a day. This small dose is considered micro-dosing and it doesn’t cause any ill effects but has helped me cut down my breakthrough pain med Percocet to 2 or 3 a month. I take a 50mg gummy everyday to stay mellow. Again I have little negative effects. I’ve been using cannabis since I was 16 and I’m now 72. I hope this helps you obtain results you desire?
