Marcaine cystoscopy outcome. Worse pain.. no relief!

Need advise, ideas, suggestions or education please ….. I had a Marcaine anesthetic Cystoscopy Block injected into kidney via Ureter today at UC Health in Denver. This is the final mandated test to have a nephectomy. This was supposed to reduce NCS pain for 12-48 hrs and used for confirmation on origin of pain. My pain has been severely worse than ever! Drove home 4 hrs and literally thought I couldn’t make it. ( Not really a choice though right?) I also felt like I had the worst UTI I have ever had in my life. All my nutcracker symptoms were much worse as well! Just the opposite of what was supposed to happen! My CAT scans are “very impressive” for NCS per doctors . Mostly occluded, very large collaterals.
