Depending on the severity, I had lymphedema of the neck post radiation, not face. I ignored it for too long which was my fault then recently started doing the prescribed massages every night and wear a compression garment to bed and I have now seen tremendous improvement.

I also had and still have a very dry mouth and had terrible phlegm that I thought would never go away but it finally did. BTW I'm 6 months post treatment. All these side effects from the nasty radiation take time.

Thank you so much and it really helps?
I will speak to my Dr.
I have had this as well following tongue cancer surgery, chemo and radiation. I use a lymphedema pump made by Tactile Medical in Minnesota. It was prescribed by my surgeon at Mayo Rochester and paid for by my insurance. I use it daily. https://tactilemedical.com/our-lymphedema-solutions/for-head-and-neck/flexitouch-plus/
