Lyme, tick borne relapsing Fever, and EBV positive

Can anyone answer if the Lyme and EBV coincide with each other and make false positives?

I’ve been diagnosed with Lyme and Tick Borne relapsing Fever since 2022. My EBV panels have come back abnormal for VCA, EA, and NA every year since 2018. My doc orders the quantifiable values and they are high.
VCA: 507, NA: 98.7, and EA: 15.7. IGM was negative. She tells me she thinks I have CAEBV. She doesn’t know why the EA would be positive every time I’m symptomatic unless it’s a reactivation. I ask for a EBV DNA PCR, which came back negative. Can it be CAEBV if the DNA profile is negative?
Thank you
Rebecca

That is such a good question which I’ve been trying to find the answer to. My PCR came back negative as well but my other labs new awful:

EBV EARLY ANTIGEN D AB (IGG) >150.00 H
EBV VIRAL CAPSID AG (VCA) AB (IGM) 124.00 H
EBV VIRAL CAPSID AG (VCA) AB (IGG) >750.00 H
EBV NUCLEAR AG (EBNA) AB (IGG) >600.00 H

I’ve heard PCR isn’t always accurate depending on what’s happening at the time it could be false negative. I have no idea what to think. Even with these awful numbers, my doctor dismisses me as “I just run high” which still makes no sense to me.

I also had LYME and was treated with antibiotics. I was tested again 2 years later (still sick) and bands 41 and 23 were reactive suggesting it was still in my system. Offered no treatment and told probably false positives.

Going on 4 years not feeling well and had to stop working it got so bad. I wish modern medicine had a clue what to do to help us.
