Hi @cakes. It’s great that you’re able to stop the BP meds since starting Valium. Since Valium affects the central nervous system, I wonder if reducing your anxiety and stress lowered heart rate and blood pressure? It can also cause vasodilation, where blood vessels widen and that may contribute to lower blood pressure.
Were you under a great deal of stress or felt anxious frequently?
Over the past few years my son and daughter passed away and 5 weeks ago my mother in law passed so yes I have been under and through a lot of stress and anxiety
Oh my goodness, @cakes, I’d say you’ve had more than your share of tragedy and heartbreak over the past few years. I’m so very sorry for your losses. It’s unimaginable to have lost not one but two children.
Grief has no timetable; take it one day at a time and may your heart find peace. Sending you a hug.
Thanks Lori I really needed that bless you every day I’m always thinking about them but I know that I will join them one day peace and love
What a beautiful couple and your mother-in-law looks like such a sweet woman. My heart goes out to you and your family with all you’ve been through. It’s so difficult to know what to say when someone is going through this deep level of grief.
