low testosterone after orgovyx

Posted by hoover58 @hoover58, 12 hours ago

I started taking orgovyx Dec 2024 and stopped June 2025. I had 4 weeks of radiation treatment in February. I am 67 years old.
My testosterone when I started orgovyx was 454. Now six months after stopping it is 270.
I feel like I'm being told to ignore the 40% drop and not to mention it.
Is there a consensus on whether former prostate cancer patients should try to increase their testosterone? I googled that and it looks like for every study saying don't do it there is another study that says its ok.

6 months is nice and quick. Over time your testosterone could rise even more. It can take six months or a year to get up to full testosterone levels after being on Orgovyx. Orgovyx says it comes back in 90 days to normal levels, according to the Hero study.

From the study

Overall, 74 of the 137 men in the relugolix cohort recovered to testosterone >280 ng/dl, with a median time to recovery of 86.0 d (95% CI, 65.0–92.0), versus two of the 47 men in the leuprolide cohort, with a median time to recovery of 112.0 d
