Low gamma globulin & light chains with normal CBC?
Hello, I am a 48 year old female. I went to the doctor for feeling sick with health problems, and these were the results of lab tests he ordered, below. Does anyone know what could cause this, or what would be some follow-up tests that my doctor might order next time I see him?
- LOW: Gamma Globulin 0.6 (reference range 0.8 to 1.7)
- LOW: Total Kappa Light Chains 164 (reference range 176 to 443)
- LOW: Total Lambda Light Chains 65 (reference range 91 to 240)
[Previously, the above 3 lab results used to be normal in me, so I was not born like this]
- Total Kappa/Lambda ratio of 2.52
- Normal blood counts. My numbers here are great with no deficiencies or anemia which is strange.
- C Reactive Protein Cardiac result of 4.29 (reference range 0.00 to 3.00), but no metabolic syndrome problems such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes (C Reactive Protein Cardiac is a different and separate lab test than CRP)
- Great kidney lab results with no deficits
