After spending five years recalling my childhood memories and then sharing it with a psychologist who treats people with severe head injuries, who was also working with two other psychologist trying to find a cure for autism, couldn't explain my progress.
My psychologist said. "I don't know how you did it, but, you have been able to rewire yor brain."
A psycholgist at a University who has a program were her students work with autistic children was dumbstruck by my life story.
What I have learned about the brain is this, an adults brain isn't any different then it was at ten months. The brain doesn't know up from down, wet from dry or cold from hot or good from bad, its the mind making those decisions based on what we are told and from experience.
What we need to understand is how all things in our life came from the use of the imagination by creating. By keeping an open mind by not thinking, my five senses feed information to my brain and my imagination did the rest.
This is the process by which babies learn to do some amazing things in the first couple of years, like sit up, crawl, stand, say words, walk, learn a language and want to be independent without feeling it to be a struggle as adults often do when having to learn something new at work. Try learning a language?
So, I still can't understand how people can't control their mental illnesses. A toddler has more control over their brain activity then an adult, how is this possible?
Today, I am no longer in the Aspergers Syndrome spectrum and it was done without medication or a doctors therapy. It was done by my own way of doing things. The is very powerful once the mind is in the right frame of thinking.
