Low dose naltrexone

Posted by lchop @lchop, 18 hours ago

Dealing with progressive chronic pain for years. Had a failed back surgery, which was a nightmare post op. Pain management has been totally ineffective. Cycles of PT, trigger injections, epidurals and every possible medication, including opioids, which I've stopped. All my doctors are pushing for spinal cord stimulator which might help lower back pain, but I have OA and stenosis throughout the spine Has anyone done LDN with success?

Yes - no help for pain. Sorry.

Chronic pain is exhausting. I tried LdN for chronic migraine and it did not help. My daughter uses it for Chron's and it helps her. Since it has to be compounded, there can be a huge difference in price from one company to another. One place was charging me $65 for 30 tablets and my husband had to pick it up. Then my daughter told me about another company she uses. Three months of tablets and they ship for I think it was $67. They were slow to refill so I just needed to pay attention and order in plenty of time so I didn't run out.
