Low dose naltrexone
Dealing with progressive chronic pain for years. Had a failed back surgery, which was a nightmare post op. Pain management has been totally ineffective. Cycles of PT, trigger injections, epidurals and every possible medication, including opioids, which I've stopped. All my doctors are pushing for spinal cord stimulator which might help lower back pain, but I have OA and stenosis throughout the spine Has anyone done LDN with success?

Yes - no help for pain. Sorry.
Chronic pain is exhausting. I tried LdN for chronic migraine and it did not help. My daughter uses it for Chron's and it helps her. Since it has to be compounded, there can be a huge difference in price from one company to another. One place was charging me $65 for 30 tablets and my husband had to pick it up. Then my daughter told me about another company she uses. Three months of tablets and they ship for I think it was $67. They were slow to refill so I just needed to pay attention and order in plenty of time so I didn't run out.

1 ReactionYes I have used it for chronic pain and it helps. Generally pain management doctors are the ones that prescribe it. It does have to be compounded and you should slowly titrate up to 4.5 mg. I pay $100 for a 90 day supply. There is a great website about ldn. It’s www. ldnresearchtrust.org You should try it but it can take awhile to start feeling better Hope you get some relief.

1 ReactionLDN has helped me very much with relieving the pain and insomnia from fibromyalgia. I'm not sure how it helps with back pain. Lots of articles you can find about that on-line, here's one: https://www.clevelandclinicmeded.com/showcase/EKCC138/docs/1430_Hill_Dose.pdf

1 Reaction@migraineelaine - Could you share the name of the company your daughter uses? I'm giving LDN a try for the first time for my peripheral neuropathy. We have a local compounding pharmacy, and I'm picking it up later today (30 capsules for $55), but I would love a better price, a 90-day supply, and have it shipped to me. Thanks!
