Has anyone tapered from 0.5mg of lorazepam per day? Can you share your experience? Thank you.

@frouke do you know anything about this - I’ve read that THC can trigger tachycardia in some people, and years ago I had frequent SVT episodes. Then they stopped. Lately, occasional rapid heart beats, to 126 or 134, which Diltiazem knocks back down in minutes. I’d asked my cardiologist about taking THC gummies in the past, but sent a message today asking if the Diltiazem would help if the THC triggered tachycardia. It’s only 2.5mg in the micro dose I’ll take to start, along with same amount of CBD and CBN. None of the dispensaries around here seem to sell plain old CBD.

@berekann, I agree that it can increase your heart rate and the cardiologist will probably not approve that you use it, your dosage is very low compared to what I take but I can’t say how it will affect you and the medication you take.

@frouke the medication is only as needed for tachycardia, and I’m hoping the amount of CBD & CBN will balance it. The person at the dispensary said she hadn’t heard of anyone having issues - but we’ll see what my cardio says! Thanks

As I have said before if it isn’t broke why fix it.
Klonopin is part of my daily regimen to fight depression and anxiety. That is along with eating right and exercising regularly.
My PCP said if I am not accelerating my usage or combining it with alcohol and have no adverse effects why would I stop and become not a nice person.
Just expressing my opinion. I hope it helps someone out there.

@daveshaw It is the same with today’s SSRI’s. Rather than trying to get off them and condemning them embrace them and make your life better.
Does someone who is diabetic trying to wean themselves off insulin?
Let’s get real on this site.

@berekann, I was sent to a cardiologist too and he made no comment about my gummy bears, a lot of doctors don’t have much information on cannabis because it’s not being studied thoroughly, it’s only been legalized for a few years. I don’t think that the dose you want to take is very high but I’m not a medical expert and I think it’s a good idea to check it out with your doctor.

@frouke it was encouraging to speak with the people at the store; they all said they had no negative reports, of either anxiety or tachycardia, and that it was a very good ratio to support sleep.
