Weakness and watery stools after taking 1 round of gem+nab-paclitaxel. Severe knee pain for 3-4 days post chemo. How to manage?

I get the same drugs plus cisplatin. I've not had the knee pain, but I do usually take Imodium AD the night before, day of, and day after getting chemo, and it seems to help. Being post-Whipple, I also have to pay close attention to the food I eat and make sure I take the proper amount of enzymes with it.

I have the bone pain for several days. I take mostly Tylenol and when real bad I take Tramadol

I am also on a combo that includes Gem. I have learned to begin taking Claritin two days prior to infusion, then continue for a few days. Also be sure to walk and move every hour to keep those joints “fluid”. I do it as much for joint pain as for neuropathy in my feet. I tend to feel things more, the more I am still. Be sure to call your doctor’s nurse and let them know!
