I’m 12 days post operation and am pleased for the most part and as I was warmed the nights and the ability of getting a goods night rest are tricky. Has anyone found an approach to improving this spotty sleep problem. thanks

I am 4 months post second TKR. At my doctor friend’s suggestion, I am taking Magnesium Glycinate and it has helped me falling and staying asleep. It is much better than taking Melatonin as it only helps me with falling asleep but not staying asleep.

@vincentyu When do you take? Would milk of magnesia do the same do you think?

I take a 400 mg of magnesium glycinate sugarless gummy after dinner daily. I found the magnesium glycinate gummy on Amazon. It may take a few days to work fully. Now I only get up once at night to use the bathroom (I also have a prostate issue). I don’t think milk of magnesia would work as it has magnesium hydroxide that works as a laxative.

I’ll look for gummies, I like the calcium ones 🙂
